2014 Iraqi Civilian Body Count....

According to CNN the death toll in Iraq during the year of 2014 is approximately 17,000 killed by combat operations. These are civilian noncombatants, basically people just trying to live life but have been labeled terrorists because of what was a fringe element, that had a certain degree of power over its people for a time. 2014 in comparison to the entire "War on Terrorism" was a relatively slow year for combat operations, you can tell by how little was reported on all media outlets. It leads me to believe that if in 2014, compared with the total American deaths in the entire Vietnam Conflict equals 1/4, that we'll never have an accurate count of dead civilians over the course of 13 years. These were people who were just trying to live life. Why hadn't anyone else reported on this? It's been 13 years. My source is Me, and CNN via the SmartNews app. I don't mean to demoralize soldiers involved in combat operations but, I'm also not going to apologize for what I'm writing either.
