MSDOS (edited w/question)

So, I was thinking that MSDOS is still implemented in the MicrosoftOS as an emulation. When a programmer or user uses DOS through older applications that run on DOS like games, older programming applications or art applications, the emulator becomes a functional item ruining in the OS. Microsoft purchased and implemented a terminal sequence in Microsoft10 from UBUNTU, when they did that Microsoft ignored the fact that the linux terminal sequence combined with the DOS emulator becoming functional during legacy software use may have triggered a DEFCON event.

Just to empathize the authors and programmers, I'm wondering if the "Microsoft Corporation" had actually made a FORMAL annoucement with regard to the incompatibility and danger of using DOS and LIN terming together in the same environment whether VM or Primary system?
